I have one relatively small gripe. There is this amazing woman who's blog I love to read. One small problem. She drives me crazy with her constant use of "......" in between sentences. Is there something wrong with ending a sentence with a period? Why not just start a new one??? I hate to sound rediculous, but I find it to be such a distraction, and can barely concentrate on her content! I am guilty of using this type of dialogue at times - but not everytime, and not every sentence!!

Shuuushhhh!!! I am sneaking on blogger at work! Ha Ha Ha! Wait...this site is not private, so anyone can look here. Humm...will have to delete this from the history when I am done.
I wanted to report that I am sure I am feeling Baby Bean move now! I have been feeling small "flutters" over the last couple of weeks, but last night and today, I can for sure now say I feel the baby moving! I'll be 16 weeks tomorrow, and I can't believe how fast time is going by. I will have to post some pics soon, but with my hectic work schedule, it's been very difficult.

I have so many details to my day that I could blog about - but what do people really care to read about. My daughter's big blowout in her bed at naptime? Mister E.'s visit with us today? My adventures shopping with two kids all morning? My screen door fiasco? My diaster of a home? My much needed retail therapy this evening? Nah...
I'll just leave you with this. My incredibly wonderful friend is getting the trip of a lifetime in a handful of days. I am incredibly excited for her. Not only is she fulfilling a dream, but she DESERVES is so much more than most people I know. This woman is an amazing pillar of strengh for her relationship, her family, her co-workers, and most importantly to me - her friend. I wish she could shine in her own eyes as brightly as she shines in mine.

Karma....goes my way!
Today we got back from the lake - and it has been a gorgeous 5 days. I have had to brave >30 Celcius weather every day, eating ice cream daily and swimming in the lake to stay cool.
We got home to a 32C home, then immediately opened up all the windows - and got naked!!! We could only bear the heat for a few hours, then had to take cold showers and leave the house. We headed to East Side Marios for some major A/C. There was this elderly man sitting beside us all by himself eating ice cream and drinking coffee. Paige was smiling at him and he was winking back to her. We decided we wanted to cover his tab - so Darren went up to the waitress and told her we wanted to cover his charges. The waitress told us he comes in all the time - and they never charge him! We thought that was so sweet. We finished our meal, then got our food together. Our bill came and Darren took it to the bar to pay debit. Our server came up and said "Oh...you wanted to cover that man's charges!" I said "YES, for sure - But my hubby is on his way to pay it now at the bar". So he runs off to "adjust it". I wait a few minutes, and Darren comes back and tells me that our server "adjusted" our bill to take %15 off because they thought that was sweet of us to offer to pay for the man's bill. They did NOT add any of his tab to ours at all! Sweet Karma!!!
Then we went for a visit to my Mom's place, she got home from a visit to Ontario tonight - so we had a visit with her. After leaving we wanted to have Slurpees. We stopped at 7-11 and Darren filled up with gas and I went in to get the treats and pay for the gas. The guy in 7-11 was getting hassled by a set of 17yr olds and I could tell he was not impressed. After they left I told him I appreciated him working so hard on such a hot day, and I hoped that he had a fantastic evening. Then he gave us free Slurpees!!! He said it was because I make his smile on such a crappy day. Sweet Karma!!!
