P.B.& J. (The Paige and Blake Journey)

Monday, June 23, 2008

My Paige has really flourished lately and expressed sooo many different sides of herself. She's giving me a run for my money, but I just love her so much it hurts. I can't believe I have a 3 yr old! It's just amazing to me how she just continues to grow as her own little person every day. Here are some shots I took with my stepdad's SLR on Sunday night.
Playful...

Affectionate...

.....Creative

and Moody!

I have been keeping busy trying to leave the house daily. I just can't believe that my son is almost 6 months old. I am sooo sad that he is growing up so fast. I am really trying to soak up as much as I can, really just absorb every moment. Sunday we went for dinner at my mom's, as we do every Sunday night. I was playing with my stepdad's SLR camera...I love it sooo much. I have been playing with it for the last year. Someday (when I can afford one, or my stepdad sell me his) I will have a nicer camera. I'd also really love to take some lessons. Since I've had children, I have dreamt of having my own studio in our house. I would love to shoot maternity, babies, children and families - and weddings!!! This is the first time I've admitted this to anyone. :) There is a studio here that I would love to model my own company after. That is something I may enter in to as a hobby, not really for financial income as I know there is no shortage of photgraphers around this area!

I keep thinking Blake is getting a tooth...then nothing! He is always chewing on his fingers, his blankets, anything that he can get his hands on! Here are some shots of him on Sunday - chewing away! Poor boy.

He also went for his 6 month immunizations today, and he's been a little bit fussy. I've had to give him Tylenol to help him be in less discomfort. He's gone to bed already, hope tomorrow is a better day for him. Or he finally just gets a tooth!!!

ACK! I just can't believe how fast time is going by. I know you are tired of hearing it, but seriously...I can't believe that my Mat leave it almost half done! I miss work, but I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE spending the day with my children. Poor Blake has had a pussy eye for a week now, but I am positive it's just he sinus cold that took me over 3 weeks to get rid of. Here is a close up of my little cutie. You can see the skin around the right eye is pink. He's getting better, this picture was take last week, but he still wakes up with green crusties on his eyelashes. Poor boy HATES when I wash them clean.
