P.B.& J. (The Paige and Blake Journey)

Leaving camping in a few hours. Yes...it's raining, but when Darren makes his mind up about something...you get the rest.

I checked online with the weather network, hoping to find a place in Alberta that was not cloudy and raining. Apparently there is a massive storm system over the entire province, and half of BC.

Yup, it will be a hot chocolate and Bailey's weekend for me. Last time we went I was preggers, so couldn't "indulge". This weekend I have a lot of "making up" to do!!!

Here is my gorgeous girl from last weekend's wedding. She is such an angel!!

Oh...and the condo is all spiffy clean for the new owners. I have to stop off over there to drop off the bottle of wine and the bouquet of flowers I have for the new owners. I am sooo happy to be fully, and officially totally moved in. Now...to clean up our garage...oh dear!!!

  • She can't possibly be that big already! Very cute dress. Have fun camping, & try to stay dry.

Question - at what point just before Paige was born did you start to panic about becoming a mommy very soon?

    I think I'm there...

  • Paige looks so cute!

What dress did you wind up wearing? Did you wear the super bargain dress we found at Sears?

  • Carrie - I had a MASSIVE panic...I remember thinking "OH MY GOD...AM I READY FOR THIS? HOW IS THIS KID GOING TO TURN OUT? WILL HE/SHE BE HEALTHY? WHAT WAS I THINKING???!!!"

You'll get over it the very moment your eyes meet the eyes of your newborn, and istantly you'll fall in love and realize you were meant to me a mommy.

  • Oh, yeah I wore the sexy black Sears dress that I stole for $12.99. I do have to say I looked HOT! I got many a compliment...mostly from men...but I won't complain!

  • Thanks Dallas - I really needed to hear that. My panic attack has been ongoing for the past week. I'm still wondering what the hell I am doing.

Maybe it's the fact that I only have 3 weeks of work left...

Only a few more weeks to go until baby day...
