April
April has been a very busy month for us. I have been pretty occupied - so I'll give you a run down now.
Early April - we were all sick - sinus, chest - took a couple of weeks to get over it. Between being sick and working, we did not have any time for anything fun it seamed!
Mid April - I went off for a scrapbook retreat without Darren or Paige. It was for two nights, and it was amazing. I got to go on a mini-road trip with my very good friend L.S. - we piled my little car full to the brim with scrapbooking gear, lots of munchies, and plenty of liquor! We got to stay in a cute cabin on Pigeon Lake. I got so much done, and I wished that I could have stayed longer.
April 16th - Darren and I left our little girl with my mom and we flew off to Cuba!
It was the most amazing trip I have ever been on. Not only was it economical - but we had such a great time. Basically the trip was full of R and R!! Rest and Relaxation - by the crystal clear waters of the ocean, by one of two swimming pools, or in our ever so comfortable twin beds pushed together! ROFL

Darren has some spectacular romance - and totally crucial bonding time. It was the first time we've gone on a REAL vacation alone in a long time. Actually - it may have been the first time now that I think of it. Hummmm. We have hundreds of great photos, so if you'd like to hear all about it sometime, I'd love to sit down and share with you.
We got home on the 23rd, well actually in the wee hours of the 24th. We barely slept because we were both so excited to see our little girl.
My mom dropped her off at 9am, and we both ran to the door. It was very endearing because when PJ saw Darren she yelled "DADDY!!" and he broke down. It is a rare occasion to see him cry. But he lost it. Very touching.
For the rest of the week, we broke our bodies physically to build a stone walkway in our front yard. We have soo much to do this year as far as landscaping.
End of April - our little girl turned two! We had a big party here at our house. I realized a couple of things this day. 1, we need a bigger house, or next time we'll rent a hall!! 2, we are soo blessed to have so many people that care for us and our little angel.

I truly feel blessed. I am such a lucky woman. I REALLY am.

You do not need a bigger house at all. If your yard was landscaped - the party would have spilled out there. You have a beautiful home for your family.
