Friday morning I started to feel much better after a long night of sleeping. I got lots of running around done and then we got ready for camping. I knew I was pushing myself a little too bit, exhausted and stomach crampy - I ignored those feelings and pushed on. We were packed and ready to leave the city at 4:30pm, the proceeded to be trapped on a road in Sherwood Park for over 1/2hr for a big accident. Sadly, one person died and we got to see others air lifted by STARS to the hospital. I am praying for those poor young people who made some poor choices on Friday.
We got to the lake by 7:30pm, and I was done! Truly exhausted, and my stomach was not happy. I just took it easy and tried to make the best of the weekend. I ended up being a camp medic around 9pm, and that took up the rest of my evening. Why does this stuff keep following me?!?!?
Sleep was almost non-existent this past weekend. The weather was terrible, my poor neighbors had a very unhappy teething baby that was crying and keeping everyone up all night. I feel badly for them mostly cause at least I could just "roll over and go back to sleep", they could not. Sunday some woke up to the cold rainy Alberta weather with either sleeping aches, hangovers, or genuine illness. I felt blisfull, exhausted, and ready for an other two days off!!

Of course you had to play medic! That always happens. So who'd you have to play doctor for?
I hope you are feeling better soon.
