Good Morning Vietnam!

I am going to have to stop writing my blogs first thing in the morning. I have noticed that all I have to say, or complain about is my lack of sleep. Yes, I don't get enough sleep. That is old news - so I need to get over it!

Teething - We keep thinking Paige is getting a tooth, she shows all the classic signs. She is drooling, cheeks are flush, she has to chew on absolutely EVERYTHING. But nothing is coming up. She has not been that great of a nurser lately. Bitting down alot when she's full. Let's just say as soon as she gets a tooth, and bites down once...breastfeeding is over! At least we have been feeding her solid through the daytime with her boobie food. She seams to really like eating, and fusses at me when I shovel the food too slow. Her favorites still are squash and Oat Cereal. I fed her some of the store bought "Vegetables with Spagetti and Beef" She was not crazy about that by itself, found it sour or something. She really liked it when I added some oat cereal to it.

I also have a canker sore on the inside of my bottom lip. I have never had one there before, and boy is it ever annoying. How long do these things last there? I will put salt on it after I actually go downstairs this morning. I've been told it hurts like h-e-double hockey sticks, but if it works, I'd be willing to give it a try.

Today I have a pretty busy day ahead of me. I am going for my Mom's Group at 12:30 at Millenium Place. I am really happy to have met these women. It's nice to have some companionship with other mommies. I have a chiropractor appt. at 2:15pm to get my back put together again. Darren will be taking me with him bowling tonight at 7pm. He has been bragging about Paige, and they all want to meet her.

  • Oh god! Don't put salt directly on it, that would cause unbelievable pain! Just do a salt/water mixture and gargle/swish with it a few times a day. It will still hurt but won't kill and it should take the sting out of it. Should start to clear up within a couple days. There is also a foul tasting medication you can get from the drugstore that will numb it while it heals, we used it as kids but I can't remember what it is called. Hope this helps! I love you blog Dallas! Great fun:) Have you been getting my emails? Cheers!
