Why does teaching your baby how to "self-soothe" have to be so trying, and damn hard. I am so sick of the sleepness nights. She just won't get the picture. I am almost at the end of my rope. I think I have to try going by the book - exactly. I don't know what else to do. She is in her room screaming as we speak...

awww sweetie! Did you have another dryer moment? I think getting through the first phases of teaching her to self soothe must be the hardest.

I remember when Christine was doing this with Indica - it was frustrating for everyone. Eventually it just worked, but even as an auntie, it was soooo hard to sit and listen to her howl. Hang in there!
