So a mistrial was declared, and I can now openly share with my loved ones that I was on a jury. It was a first degree murder trial, and to be honest, I was finding it rater interessting! I cannot believe the amount I have learnt from the experince, but I am also relived that I do not have to make a decision on "guilty" or "not-guilty" So back to my "regular life" I go.
We get possession of the new house in two days, and we have yet to pack up the remainder of our home. I am hoping that we'll have the majority of things packed for the movers on Saturday. Darren and I have decided that we'd hire movers this time, instead of sweet talking everyone we know to come and help us move "the beast" (Also know as a sectional.) We can afford it, so we need to do it. For our mental health, and physical health.
So...I am back at work. Thank goodness that I will be having a decent wage coming in again, and we can look forward to getting on with our lives in our new home!
