Happy Halloween.

Paige enjoyed handing out candy more than anyone else in this hamlet of Sherwood Park! I wish I could have captured her on video...she made the most adorable "OHHHH" face and RAN to the door everytime someone rang the bell or yelled "TRICK OR TREAT!!" She especially loved putting candy in all these dressed up kid's sacks! We dressed her as an elephant all day, and she kept going "raaaaaaaaaa" to make elephant noises...how sweet!!!

I am happy we didn't have to brave the cold this year...she had no concept of leaving the house to go and GET candy - she was quite pleased with giving it away! Let's hope next year she is still clueless when it comes to going trick or treating.

Paige had her 18 month immunizations today in the morning. She was great! She only cried for a little bit...then whimperd "owie" for 10 minutes...then was over it! We came home, and at some yummy chicken noodle soup that I made for lunch. I even made homemade noodles! She played a while with my friend Lynelle's son Tobin - then she went for a 4 hour nap!! It was fabulous.

In the time she slept, I got to make some awesome new crafts using my Stampin' Up stamps. I made some decorative candles, and some tile coasters! I love them! I can't wait to make some more. I will post some photos later!

Snow Clearing!

Yesterday was our first real snow fall. So we all bundled up and went outside to shovel the snow. (Read "Darren was going to shovel snow"!) The snow was still falling and Paige was not impressed. I put her down in the snow and she started crying! She wanted to be picked up ASAP!!! It was heart breaking to see the sadness on her face.

She eventually got "over it" and started playing in the snow. I gave her her sand shovel and she "helped" her daddy clear the snow. It was adorable! She kept throwing the snow and it always landed on her head! She now loves the snow!

Nice Man Dominic

Tonight I went to the Eskimo Football game. It was a great game despite the continuous freezing cold rain/snow. I was drenched by the time I got home. ANYWAY...I lost my cell phone at some point on my way home! I was so sad...I got home and decided to call it. Some old man answered. His name was Dominic and he found my phone in the parking lot! He said he thought the owner would try calling it...so he answered it! He was sooo sweet. He even went a little out of his way to drop it off with my hubby who was still in the city.

So, there are kind strangers out there. Thank you my Dominic!

Keltie's Baby Shower

On Sunday I hosted a baby shower for Keltie and sweet baby Evan. It was a wonderful afternoon, and the sun was shining. It was fantastic to visit with friends and family! It was even better to visit with friend's babies! I can't post too many photos, because most of them have quite a few people in them, and I do not have permission to post their photos on the net. So I will share a couple with you.

Poor Baby Evan was always attacked by Paige. She is just in LOVE with babies! She won't leave them alone. If there is a baby in the room, than chances are you'll find Paige next to it! Here she is bugging Evan while he is trying to play on his new quilt. Isn't it gorgeous??!!! The lovely J.G. made it for him.

I REALLY want to share some photos with you. A few weeks ago I met my mom friends at Millenium Place for a playgroup. One of the moms Lynelle was there and took some shots of Paige. I absolutely LOVE these two shots. I feel that she somehow captured my daughter's true spirit. With her messy face, fly-a-way hair and enormous smile - the daughter that I love is really shown.
(Thank you Lynelle! You are a talented photographer. When are you going to start your own studio???!!!)

I got home from work Sunday night to Paige puking! So Yesterday Darren went off to work and I was left to care for one unhappy little girl. She barely ate or drink anything. She was very cuddly and didn't want to do much of anything except sit with mommy and watch Dora. After supper last night...she puked up what little she ate. We had a rough night...changed her sheets three times cause of puke, and changed her clothes twice cause of diarrhea. My poor little girl.

Today my girl was up at 6am, and had more diarrhea....and was crying "Owie, mommy, owie". I changed her and brought her in bed with me. She wanted some water at 8am, then promptly threw up all over me. I then let her cuddle with me in my bed and watch Dora again. Dora DVDs are my only salvation when she is sick. She is now asleep again, I hope she naps for a long time. I want her to get better. If she is feeling beter later I think we'll make a trip to the video store for a *new* Dora video. The two we have are getting VERY old.

Scarecrow Festival

Today I packed up my little "Dorothy", and we picked up some newer friends. We all ventured out to the Scarecrow Festival. I got to see what it would be like having three kids. Wow, what a challenge. Lets just say that if three kids are in our future, #3 won't come until Paige is in school!!!

Here my little girl is running around. She had the most amazing time. I swear she thrives in noisy/crowded places. We got to paint a pumpkin, decorate cookies, play in a 20 foot pumpkin (artificial of course!), and do some halloween themed carnival type games.

What a fun day!!!

Geese Chasing

Paige had a great time out on Grandma's farm. She LOVED chasing the geese around. The poor birds got to a point where they had enough, and this one goose came after her! I had to drop my camera and run and grab her. This photo is just right before this good in the middle came after her......He was hissing at her to warn her, just before the attack!

Black Eyed Peas!!!

Here is a picture of me and my buddy at the Black Eyed Peas concert. It was amazing fun. One of the best nights I've had in a long time!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Gobble Gobble! Good Morning to all! I am super tired today, despite sleeping in until 8:30am today. I worked a 12 hr shift yesterday, which required me to wake up for 5:30am. I foolishly stayed up until 1:30am watching a documentary on the 9/11 World Trade Center the night before.

I got home after work around 8:30pm last night, and I was lucky enough to have some friends here watching the Oiler's game! We watched the game and visited. I stupidly stayed up until about 1am. I am bagged.

We are going to eat breakfast here soon...and then I am going to relax a little, then get Miss K. and baby E. They'll be coming with us to supper at my mom's.

Today Paige and I took my car to the garage to have an oil change. Just routine, they didn't find anything else needing repairing, or damaged! Wooo Hooo!

We then went to visit E. at work, only to discover she was not there! Poor thing was home sick. Oh well, we left her a surprise on her desk for when she gets back to work. We ate lunch at Wendy's, and now we are chillin' at home. Paige had a nap in the car this morning, so she'll be up for a bit before being ready for an afternoon nap.

Three more days until weigh in at Weight Watchers. I am hoping to be below 200 lbs! I CAN'T wait to see if I made it! This is one of the first weeks in a long time where I've been super excited for weigh in.
